Trying to see if I get notifiaction

HI ALL

WE HAVE SEEN OUR SOLICTOR ABOUT (M11)  TO FIND OUT WHY WE CAN NOT MOVE IN YET,

SOLICTOR SAID THAT MASA WILL NOT RELEASE (M11) UNTIL A LOT MORE ARE SOLD ( I THINK ITS THE EAGLES THAT ARE NOT SELLING)...

THIS COULD TAKE UP TO 6-12 MONTH'S, SO IT LOOKS LIKE A LONG WAIT FOR US UP THAT END OF (SG)...

AS ANYONE GOT ANY OTHER UP-DATE ON WHATS HAPPENING ON (M11) FROM THERE SOLICTOR'S

Oh dear Bobby, sorry to hear that, can the solicitor not push it a bit, or even get you one of the others on another  pologon?

Have they said why they are waiting why they need to sell more of them?  Sometimes you will find this is soemthing to do with Habitational licence as it woudl be less costly to sign the phase off as an whole rather than a couple of properties at one time, i may be wrong but this is something tht i was told by an agent once, Good luck, time to promote the site a little more I think to get others interested in buying in the area. 
Must be awful having a property but not having the option to use it.

HE IS LOOKING INTO THAT FOR US....BUT ON MY PROPERTY (M11) I HAVE PAID FOR MY GRILLS AND AIR-CON, AND MASA HAVE INSTALLED IT ALREADY, OUR SOLICITOR  SAID THAT MASA SHOULD NOT OF PUT THEM IN OUR PROPERTY AS IT HAS NOT BEEN  REGISTERED, AND HE THINKS IF I MOVE THAT MASA MAY NOT GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK FOR THEM AS THEY ARE A LAW UNTO THEM SELVE'S...AS WE ALL KNOW..

OUR DREAM OF LIVING IN SPAIN IS A LOT HARDER THEN WE EVER THOUGHT (IE)  HOW HARD IT IS TO GET WORK OUT HERE ...I NEED TO PICK UP A LOT MORE THEN WHATS COMING IN TO EVER HAVE A CHANCE OF LIVING AT SIERRA GOLF...IF NO ONE EMPLOYS LOCAL PEOPLE IT WILL BECOME A GHOST TOWN ( THATS WHAT I THINK)....

Bobby what work are you looking to do? do you have a trade already or are you looking to do something or anything, Just a thought for something i can put on the other forum with regards to work available wanted etc.

           No extras should have gone in or on the property as your solicitor says as this property is not actually yours yet, that is like buying a property in the uk and moving your furniture in before you sign. Life in spain is harder than they make out but we have been here for two years and would not go back unless forced out.

 

Hi Rob & Sue,  that's just awful, I hope your solicitor can kick them into action.  How can they sit on your money and not let you move into your own home - just beggars belief.  

We were told masa was ready to complete on our house over a year ago.  The house itself was completed in the summer 2006, but no roads etc were done so the council wouldn't let them release them.  The furniture was moved in summer 2007 and we were eventually told we could complete at the end of last year.  We might be in by summer 2008, only 2 years after the house was built. 

 It's like buying a secondhand 'new' house that's been standing empty for 2 years.  Good job people have moved in on the site or the next thing we'll have is squatters in a lovely fully furnished home ready for them to trash.  Plus - they won't let you go inside your own house until you've set a date to complete!! What the hell is that all about??

There should be work on SG - there's going to be (ok when/if/??) 3000 houses there eventually.  That's why the swimming pool shop has already based itself there and i've heard from another pool company that they're planning to open there soon as well.  They know a potential euro or two when they see one.  Maybe like me, some people are not completing until the licence of habitation is issued.  When there's more of us there hopefully work will pick up for you.

Hope you get some good news soon and hope you're enjoying lovely blue skies cos it hasn't stopped p****** down here for weeks!!

hi rob n sue thought it was just dotting eyes n crossing tees after we saw you in new year sorry to here its not i suppose you have asked the t*****rs in sales how many they have left to sell on m11 because when we went over to sign frenchie told us she didnt have many left to sell and was waiting for new phase to be released in 2008and so did the other muppet i think they call him migel in sales that must be 6 months ago try asking the new girl she seems to tell it how it is does this also stop commercial development too ie pool n bar on m 11 be interesting because masa will want revenue of it n there pressing ahead with 1st nine for revenue could your solisitor try shakeing a branch or too at the town hall the mayor seems to have made sg into something of a personel crusade they could organise a save bobby50 campain in murcia only kidding you could try squating in masas head office chain sue to sales office door like a suffuraget again only kidding i only wish i new how to help you both would they allow you to swap plots on to one ready to go  we are out in feb 12th again drop in for a chat if you are passing 1442 un level peble house your both more than welcome see you soon keep your chins up phil n denise

Sorry to hear about the news of the house completion.

As you know we bought after you on M16 and as i said to Sue when we spoke last Tuesday it sounds as if the reason they don't release is they have to sell so many. Also they ahve to pay tax on each building once it ahs a certificate so they will not do this until they have sold them and are going to release very quickly.

I am also of the opinion that a lot of  the agents are not now pushing the development because of the delay our rep from Atlas told us when we came out week of the 5th and signed and sealed on 11th Jan 2008,  that Atlas are moving at least two people a week over the next few months so that makes good news.

 As it will encourage any new people when they see developments to the existing houses like ours and peopel who are livign there.

Thanks to you the garden now looks great and it is a show house inside with the lights Ray put up, shame we will not see for  a few more months.

Reading one of the replies, i was surprised soemone stated only 3,000 houses I was told 5,000 and although one of the guys in the office said they hope it will be 3 years until total completion! He even added as they are Spanish nearer 5!!

Why pool shops there are not that many of the properties which would have room for a decent pool so Why Pool shops waht is needed is proper shops and bars etc. We were told that the shops on the site already will be up and running as a bar/restaurant, a bank and mini mart. Hopefully sooner than later as people start taking residence.

They also told us that the golf course which currently was eight holes completed they are working on the ninth and this will be up and running in two months we thought by summer Spanish time.

So hopefully over the next months there wil be many changes and if hyour solicitor can swing it you will be resident on site.

We are so glad we met you as you are looking after our assets and cannot wait to enjoy another bottle of plonk Rioca of course with you.

I'll remember some treats for the dogs next time.
