We have put the deposit down to No. 57 Manzana 5. Hopefully moving in July or Nov as soon as.  Pat & Jo Baker will be moving in permanently from the UK and Harry, Tricia (myself) & Sophie will be coming down for extended holidays.  Can't wait... 

We will be flying down in May on the 27th to see how things are progressing staying in one of the bunglows that we have rented for 4 days. may be we could come and see you if we get the time

Just a quick word to say thanks for your hospitality last week and it's always nice to put names to faces.  We'll all be out again later this summer.

Myself and three friends are flying out this Thursday till Monday for a long weekend.  If there is anyone on Manzana 5 who is passing by and sees 4 men sitting around sipping warm beer (no fridge yet) and eating olives then please come and say hello.  

If i get the chance I might also try and go into the Taray office and ask a few questions about what is going on.  If anyone wants to meet up and discuss what is going on am sure the Rose and Thistle is as good as place as any.

Also where is the best place to go to buy small electrical goods like kettles and toasters?  

Need to get one else it will be water and dry bread for breakfast

We can't have warm beer!! Oh no. Andy arrived yesterday and will be setting up our house before we follow in 3 weeks. The fridge is being delivered today.......so if you need somewhere to cool your beer pop over to 12C and make it 5 men sitting around drinking cold beer. lol.

Hi,

We are coming out this evening until next Wednesday, so hope to meet up with you all, we are 12A, although we will be staying in one of the apartment blocks. The  Rose & Thistle does sound a good place to be.

We also are hoping for a meeting with someone senior from Taray over the pool etc., our rep is still waiting for confirmation of a meeting date from them!!!   No suprises there then!.

Dear 12A & 12C

We will be arriving late afternoon on Thursday and then I am dashing to IKEA to get some furniture.  I hope to get to the Rose and Thistle the same evening and probably every evening but we will see.   I will make my way to 12C to see Andy and offer some male support in his time of need, in the form of the offer of a cold beer.

Looking forward to the sun and the warm waters of the Mar Menor (as we don't have a pool yet)

Just got back from San Cayetano and must confess that I failed say hello to Andy.  On the one occasion that I did try, he had just left the quad and was walking out the gate.  I did pass him on the way home late one night but i thought that a car pulling up beside him with four men might not of been the right occasion to introduce myself.  We are out on the 4th August for 2 weeks so will definitely say hello then.

Does anyone know the latest on the LFO for Phase 5? has anyone completed with a mortage on Phase 5, if so which bank?

We completed on Manzana 5 with a mortgage which we got (quite easily) from Bankinter in Los Alcazares. Caja Murcia messed us around for quite a while prior to this so we went elsewhere.

As for the LFO - we're still waiting but not in any rush because we're not paying any bills as yet .
