Hi
We have just had photos from our snagging report and cannot see any evidence of the pre-installation for air-conditioning that we were told we were getting in the living room. Is there anyone buying a bungalow or already completed who can clarify that it has been put in.
Thanks
Jan & Paul

Hi Tom
Generally the report was good, 21 faults found but minor, i e doorstops missing, a few scratches on paintwork etc. the worst one was a bedroom window that won't lock. Were you under the impression that the air-con was pre-installed ?

Hi All,
The bungalows have the pre-installation ready for air con/heating.
Our neighbours have one unit in the lounge which they say is adequate. When they have the heating on they leave the bedroom doors open for a couple of hours just to take the chill off. I think they said it cost about 500euro last October.
Good luck for your completions.
Best wishes
Pat

Have been on the site today, and had a look around our bungalow, even though we were not supposed to go in to it.All the pre installitation for air conditioning is there. We also got a quote from helder for the installation of units. They were 995 for the lounge and 1,780 for the two bedrooms, total 2,775 euros for the whole bungalow. We are only getting fitted for the lounge.Did anybody got better price than that , and from who.The whole place is looking great.A lot of work has gone into it since we were over last november.Hope the couple we meet today have a happy conclusion their problem.

When we were over at the site on monday, helder told us that we could get in and have a look at our bungalow at the end of the month.Does thatmean that we could do a snagging list then before we sign for it at the end of march, or do you wait to do one nearer to the signing date. Also does anybody know a person or company that could do it for you, if you cant make it over yourself to do it.

Hi Sean96C
Who did you get to do your air con at that price.
Hi Tom
We used Holalife to do our snagging list. They have done it already to check there was nothing major to stop us completing this week but Taray will not accept the report off them until completion. Darryl of Holalife says they have put the minor faults right within 30 days of that.

Hi
When we were in Spain a few weeks ago we saw an advert in Euronics based as Los Alcazares saying that they charge 170 euros for basic installation of air conditioning. They also sold the units at very reasonable prices. we did enquire but the needed to know the square footage af the apartment to work out which units would be suitable, but when we go back we do intend going back to find out an exact price.

Tom,
We had 3 aircon inverter units fitted in our quad last June for 1999 euros (1 downstairs, 2 in the upstairs bedrooms) through a company called Chillout. We were quoted 1299 euros for conventional (non-inverter) units, but these are more expensive to run.
The contact for Chillout is Bradley Watkins +34 667 246 433. It's probably worth getting a quote.
Regards,
Kevin

I have spoken to Bradley watkins of Chillout, he gave me the following quotes and he told me he could fit them with short notice.
Has anybody had any cheaper quotes for the same models
His phone number is +34 667 246 433

Hola Mr Foy,
Thank you for considering Chillout Costa Blanca CB. All prices listed below are for four hot and cold machines, including Quality Installation and IVA.
Panasonic Energy Grade A Conventional 1x Lounge 12000btu and 3x Bedroom 9000btu: 2399.00
Panasonic Energy Grade A Basic Inverter 1x Lounge 12000btu and 3x Bedroom 9000btu: 2699.00
Panasonic Energy Grade A E-ion Inverter 1x Lounge 12000btu and 3x Bedroom 7000btu: 3199.00
The E-ion Inverter model is the best unit on the market to date, it has the lowest consumption of electric, it is also the quietest and actually cleans the air in the room.
I have attached a more detailed explanation of how the air purifying system works and also some information explaining the difference between the conventional and Inverter System.
I hope this helps and if you have any more queries please do not hesitate to contact me.
Our website is having some work done to it at present but should be back online on Monday, all this information can normally be found on there at www.chilloutcostablanca.com along with photo's and previous customer comments.
Kind Regards
Bradley Watkins.

To anybody who is interested in Aircon units. We were given a guys name by the Masa International moving in Rep.
He,s called Les ( a scotsman) very nice man indeed. We had two Samsung invertors fitted for our 2 bed Bungalow, 1 in main bedroom and 1 in the lounge, plenty cold enough in summer and lovely and warm in winter. Both units cost us 1600 euros and they did a first class job. We had a problem with one where there must of been a power surge because we are still on builders power, and they came straight back to fix it no questions asked. I would certainly recommend them to anyone. You can get Les on 630946280 or Steve on 686419259.
If anyone would like anymore info. My name is Phil from No 3b Block 4 phase 1.
