The deed is Done and as Happy as Larry

Hi everyone yes we have done it .The apartment is great only small amounts of snagging to be done internally,odd tile, wardrobe doors shaded, crack on marble steb on balcony ,all minor things but irritating if you have to live with them.When we arrived at theb apartment we were surprised it had been cleaned and just needed a finale clean,mainly dusty.the problem we had was the elevator was not working so we had to carry all our things up the stairs and we are top floor.We also had water problems ,no water Saturday Sunday a rolicking had that on pretty quickly.we had no problems with electricity supply.Most of the light fittings are fitted  and our furniture arrived Tuesday ,what a slog the guys had getting it up the stairs but they did a brill job.We are very happy with everything and hope to be out there again as soon as possible.

Great to hear you are finally in.  Have you any knowledge as to the whereabouts of the crack in Block 7 mentioned elsewhere in this forum.  Any info would be much appreciated.

It's quite difficult to describe the location of the crack as I'm not familiar with all the apartment numbers but here goes. If you're looking at the block from the swimming pool side of the block, it's where the second apartment(s) from the left-hand side adjoins the third apartment(s). The crack runs from the ground floor right up to the top storey. The general feedback I'm being given is that it's 'purely' settlement and that the developer will repair when asked/demanded. We still hope to complete within the next 1-2 weeks.

Ken, Lynn, congratualtions! We are still fine-tuning the details and should be completing quite soon. Very glad you are basically pleased. Been looking on the flight availabilities, there are some good bargains out there. We might see you out there one of these days.

Just wanted to add my congratulations to one and all that have completed. Hope to see you sometime but don't think Phase 4 will be finished for quite some time. Please let us know how things are progressing and hopefully Suzanne will remember those photographs. Paul in Block 7 still hasn't heard from his solicitor so I guess it may be how hard you push. Glad to hear you are still with us Alan - it must have been the trophy that Spurs you on.................
