Whats the Orihuela/Fortuna area like?

Just been on the Roda site where someone has posted that they have been informed that on completion an initial cost of 600 euros will be required to cover connection and first few months of gas/electricity then a monthly charge of approximately 100 euros per month for gas/electricity and Community Charge - seems very reasonable as Roda will be having its own beach club.  Surely this charge should not be too different for Corvera.  Anyone know any different?

Hi just got back from Roda and Corvera.Asked about costs and told approx 100 euros but gas/elec will be charged separately and the actual community charge will be sorted on first meeting of all the owners when all purchasers are completed on their community.Just a little note.Seems like chaos at Roda as phase 1 completing and Roda do not know the answers to a lot of questions due to waiting for replies  from De Vere.On the after sales door there is even a note informing of where to get a complaint for from.Scarey

Hi teejay, do you mean the total monthly amount would be approx 100 euros - community charge and gas/electricity, but charged for separately?  Lets hope they iron out all their problems with Roda so that Corvera will run smoothly.....

Hi ,no the community charge will be separate to the gas and electic which will be metered and charged for what we use.Yes lets hope probs sorted out soon as have apartment on Roda as well and want to rent out asap however thats in phase 2.
