This is good news and the company are keeping us informed!!. I had been told this recently by my agent but it is good to hear it from the Company as well. Lets hope that the build starts going upwards soon!!
I think the letter is very positive but no doubt some people won't!!
Looking forward to Jumilla.

This is exactly what our solicter has told us. Never doubted the development for a minute, just feel sorry for the people who have been put off the development by some of the outragous posts that have occured on some forums. Still in three weeks I'll be living the Spanish dream anyway!!!
Cheers

Thank you, Javier, for giving us an update. In the UK we have a saying that "no news is good news", however I think we all appreciate having some news, so that we know what is going on. Our agent is good at updating us, but I know that not everybody is as fortunate, so please keep on sending us updates.
Sue

YES.......THANKS FOR THE INFO, JAVIER !!
JUST ON THIS POINT..........THE LETTER MENTIONS COMPENSATION TO CUSTOMERS !
HAS ANYONE HAD PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE OF THIS TYPE OF THING, AND IF SO, WHAT SORT OF COMPENSATION ARE WE TALKING ABOUT.............................IS IT MONETARY, OR ARE WE TALKING EXTRAS WITHIN THE PROPERTY ?
THEY STATE THAT THEY WILL BE PRE-INSTALLING FOR AIR CONDITIONING !
WHAT ELSE SHOULD WE BE ASKING FOR ?
I THINK IT'S IMPORTANT THAT WE ARE ALL "SINGING OFF THE SAME HYMN SHEET"........DON'T YOU ?
AFTER ALL............WE'RE ALL IN THE SAME BOAT.........AND WE SHOULD ALL RECEIVE THE SAME TREATMENT FOR THE LENGTHY DELAYS THAT HAVE OCCURRED !
THE ONLY EXPERIENCE WE HAVE HAD, WAS IN THIS COUNTRY, WHEN OUR CURRENT HOUSE WAS BUILT 15 YEARS AGO.
THERE WERE DELAYS , ( YES......BELIEVE IT OR NOT ! ), HERE TOO, AND WE WERE COMPENSTATED BY ASKING FOR BUILT IN WARDROBES, AND A RADIATOR TO BE MOVED TO A DIFFERENT WALL........YET.......OUR NEIGHBOURS, GOT THE SAME, BUT ALSO SQUEEZED AN EXTRA WIDE TARMAC DRIVE, AND CARPETS THROUGHOUT THE HOUSE !
DO YOU SEE WHERE i'M COMING FROM ?
IT'S IMPORTANT THAT WE ALL GET WHAT'S COMING TO US !!
ANY THOUGHTS ?

Hi Baz
That's a good idea in theory, however different people will probably want different things. You might want them to fit white goods, whereas I know what fridge I would like and don't want their choice, so I would prefer extra wardrobe space for all my clothes! What do other people think?

Hi all
Your compensation package is individual and San Jose Company will only discuss this on an individual basis. If you think about it each one of us that has a delay in completion has a different timescale so compensation will vary.
We used our spanish solicitor to sort out our package of compensation, which I may add we are very happy with. You really need to give your solicitor clear and consise instructions on what you see as a compensation package for you. Before any one asks our compensation package is private to us and we have agreed in the contract of compensation we would not discuss the contents.
I don't think coming together and making a joint claim would be entertained by San Jose.
Cheers

Hi All,
I just wonder how a compensation package can be drawn up and agreed by San Jose when the upbuilding has not yet commenced. ?
I also agree that negotiations are best achieved individually. Combined claims from groups tend to reduce the overall amount of compensation and will add to delay for settlement.
We are going to Murcia for weekend just after Easter and looking forward to a trip out to Jumilla. Will post any news.
Regards
Ken & Phil (R20 Plot3)

All,
Firstly, thanks for the update Javier !!! any news is welcome.
I was up on site yesterday with a client and also 'Roys Rellies' and although not on a major scale, work was happening and as Javier reports, the golf course is definately taking shape. We were last up there in December and it has come on considerably, and whilst there, RR and I were permitted to walk some of the course, approx 15 holes now shaped, olive trees planted and the ravine which runs through the west course has now been landscaped and looks somewhat daunting to say the least. Also, we could see and hear earth moving equipment on the course preparing other holes / ground, so progression well on the way on the west course.
In addition, there was also some presence on the build itself with the construction of boundary, and property boundary walls taking place and plenty concrete, digger and 7-tonners visible. The storage area still looks sparse but things are definately ramping up. Just north of the R4/6/10 foundations, there now appears a 'huge' amount of piled earth that was not present before xmas, I can only guess this is the remnents of new plots being excavated or the soil used for landscaping the course further, either way, it has a positive perspective on the urbanisation.
The partner i met up there also has considerable interest in this urbanisation having sold a large number of properties and they had a meeting with SJG yesterday with positive outcome, which again re-installs some positivity in us, as future homeowners. Looking at the plans, R15 & R17 & R19 are now all sold all bar single digit amounts so people are still encouraged this is the urbanisation to buy on, regardless of the delays etc.
We plan on visiting at least one a month now so will keep all updated, again, anyone wanting updates on their individual plots only have to ask.
regards
Darren & Michelle
Apologies for the time but any F1 fanatics out there will know this morning (03:15am here) is the first quali in Australia for the new F1 season, and one must have some pleasures in life, regardless of the time of day .....it's not all work lol !!!!!
K&P (Broph), if you are coming over at Easter, be aware they close down more days than in the UK, I have the hours of opening for the showroom / showhouses and will post in the morning after I've had a lie in, if you fancy a brew whilst over here, be happy to meet up!

Hi Darren & Michelle
Thanks for the update. It has been really uplifting to hear from SJ via Javier, and also to have some of this verified by your own eyes! I must admit to starting to get worried about a month ago - not so much by the delays, but by the lack of information - so thanks for reducing some more grey hairs!!

not a problem, we are back up there next Tuesday for a meeting, what release are you on (R15-17 etc) and we'll check. I know that all R-15 has been progressed to footings level but R-17 is still awaiting progress until the golf course has taken shape that side (and prob final licence granted). If we get the opportunity, we'll post some photo updates over to you if you drop us your email address.
regards
Darren

Hi Darren
Thanks for all the recent information...very positive news. Would it be possible to look in to the situation regarding R4 when you visit next Tuesday. Ours are numbers 346 and 425. The last info we had on completion dates was Dec 2008 and we need to know if this is still feasible or not fairly urgently due to our financial situation?
Anyway, thanks for anything you can do.
Regards, Phill and Lesley Handscomb
