Just got back to the horrid weather in the UK after a glorious week at HR.
I'd like to say we had time to sunbathe but this week was to buy the last white goods, get the locks changed and and get the bedroom air-cons in (Hot and cold). The supplier we used was able to trunk the outside units round so the air was blowing OFF the terrace and not ALONG it. and, despite having two condensor units on our terrace, the units were certainly not overbearing ( I definitely wouldn't have had them if they were) but the men acted with total professionalism and tidied up after them. I know most of you may already have air con fully installed, but you might wish to change the siting of the outside unit at some stage, Please email me if you want more details and see what they looked like once installed.
We went to Electro Regalos (Tiens 21) to look at white goods, but actually bought a Zanussi fridge freezer from Electro Sucina (in Sucina) which is a member of the same group - and the men there deliver the next morning and had heard Pete say he was going to change the door opening from the right hand to the left and had altered it in the shop before bringing it to us.
Glad to say we have electricity and gas but the builder's water creats havoc with your hair - feels like you're combing through wire !!!
