This is the way polaris work go one day NIE number snag sameday COMPLETE the next what icarn,t understand if there still work not correct why do we have to sign it not complete

The otherthing is about utility ( water, gas, electicit,) .) connections i dont believe it takes 30 t0 60 days to be connected i believe that polaris do not have the CERTICATE of HABITATION FROM THE TOWN HALL for the apartment you have purchased, there is a backlog in the process of issueing them and the utilitie companys have, to have this document to connect ,For those who have completed did you see this document

Yes we saw our Certificate of Habitacion,  and have a copy of it - and yet we are still waiting 9 weeks later for utilities!

Yes I can confirm that PW do not release any property until the Certifucate of Habitation is issued

With utility connections it is the luck of the draw on how long it takes to get connected

Yes NIE and snagging on one is correct, it may not be right but it's the way PW do it unlike all of the other developments including RODA and La Tercia

Roy,  why do you always have to make snidey comments about PW?

If lots of other developers in the area including RODA, La Tercia, La Finca, Hacienda Del Alamo can sell a property where you can inspect the property 2-3 weeks prior to completion and where the untilites are connected within days of completion, and where the facilities, at least a bar are in place why can't Polaris

We inspect in lots of develpments and with lots of builders and I can only report on the facts as we find them

Just out of interest, we are completing in March and wer out in Spain a couple of weeks ago. Our Solicitor phoned Polaris to ask if we could collect our NIE numbers whilst we were there and they were very accomodating and took us the next day.

Also, we did ask Polaris if we could do the snagging a couple of weeks before we complete and they initially said no. We took this up with our Solicitor who spoke to Polaris and they agreed. I don't think they particularly like it but, having said that, they did say we could.

With Polaris, it is common for the collection of NIE and snagging to take place the working day prior to completion.

Polaris uses two notaries, one in San Javier and one in Torre Pacheco. The process is very slick, so long as all the relevant parties turn up when they are supposed to. Typically, it is the bank which holds up the process.
