Hi All

We have just completed on Phase 3 & ordered our furniture & TV for our apartment; however we are aware that it is not that easy to be able to watch a decent range of TV chanels without SKY being installed. Does anyone know whether this is the best solution & if so, how we would go about this & also the likely costs of going down this route?   

We understand that you can access some English programmes through the Polaris offering, but this seems to only offer a limited range. If anyone knows differently, then perhaps they could let us know, or if anyone feels the Polaris option is sufficient to also watch the sport etc  then please can we have your feedback.

Hi, we had a guy out to check our apartment for a "sky" system while we were there,unfornatualy our location on the ground floor was not suitable because of a high bank behind the apartment which blocked the transmitter. The only option was to put the mesh micromesh receiver on the first floor at the stair window. He told us straight that polaris probably would not accept the cable running down to our apartment even behind the gas pipe, the only way would be to approach the owner of the first floor Apt. and split the system between both of us.

The charge for the initial installation was high 590euro, but the running cost per month was only 19euro for the full sky package with sport, setanta etc.

If you split it to 2 apartments the cost is 160euro extra for the second apartment, so the ideal way would be to get a few interested owners nearby and split the cost between all.
