Buying furniture in the UK to ship to Spain

Happy to you all and may 2008 be a successful year for us all!
 
I would please like for any one in the Berkshire more specifically the Reading/Wokingham areas to get in contact for a local meet up to discuss ideas/ dilemmas/obstacles(and the good bits too), local places to eat and shop etc. to face me when I make my visit in a few days time (flying out 20^th Jan) to sign up my place at Hacienda Riqueleme.
 
Those who have bought a place like myself on Hacieda Riquelme and are in the area during 20^th -  25^th Jan and would like to meet up and chat also get in touch.

Best of luck for next week. What phase and plot number are you?. We completed in Nov 07 and have just been informed that our snagging is finished. Would be interested in your reading your opinions on the resort when you return. We live in East Sussex  so wont be able to join your club, but if  you are ever in the area you would be welcome to join us for a coffee or something stronger. Hope to meet on site sometime in the coming months.

Hi there - It's a shame you are not out there from 26th January when we are flying over to start to furnish our apartment.

I was laying in bed last night (sad aren't I???) thinking if there was a way all the apartment owners could get a petition signed to send to the local town hall to see if we could help Polaris get their plans submitted, passed and the building work started.   With the number of apartments on HR surely we might be able to give some weight to this.

Any Essex purchasers out there ?

We are on phase 4, aprtmt 165...what about you guys?

When over there, where did you stay and how many days did you spend out there?
Any hints and tips on the procedures to follow would be greatly appreciated. Did you take a solicitor with you to the Notary, where did you rent during your time there, car hire, etc?
Also, what about furnishing...are you going for packages or shopping around?
