Since expressing my wish to buy a polaris world property, I have ben bombarded with offers from many 'golden partners' any advice on which are good and not so good?

My view, for what it's worth, is to take a totally cynical approach. They are all desperate (as you've probably gathered) with the property collapse and the weak pound and they're all as good or as bad as each other. They all take a large commission so screw 'em to the ground on price.

I've heard that PW are offering substantial discounts to shift some unsold properties on places like TT and HR.

I'm on HR and if I had some spare cash, I would certainly consider another purchase there. 

Suggest you ring some of the 'Golden Partners' who are bombarding you and discuss possibilities of discounts before you commit to anything.

Its also worth doing some searches on the various forums as there's lots of resales about.

Maybe a bit late but cut out the middle men and go straight to Polaris

It would certainly be interesting to go on one of their free trips and see what they are offering. 

There's a penthouse in our block still for sale.  Current PW price is 245k but wonder if they'd be open to offers!!
