We have received an invitation from Polaris for ' A Taste of Murcia in Birmingham '. An evening of food, drink, music, dancing, entertainment on Friday 4th April at the  Hyatt Hotel.

Anyone else had their invite yet ?  ?

Polaris sent invites out to those near Liverpool  Manchester  and Birmingham. Three functions A Tast of Murcia

Glad all went well with the snagging PaulFurn and Patrolls and completion went smoothly.  It' s our turn the Thursday after Easter all being well with the holidays.  We went with a Barclays mortgage in the end and are hoping there are going to be no hold ups with the Easter Holidays.  Valuation was good on the property, 59,000 over original amount so very relieved about that.

If Mareia and Gary are still in Spain be great to meet up at La Torre bar or with anyone having already completed on HR.  We have a hectic schedule arriving Tuesday evening, Notary and snagging on Wednesday and signing on Thursday but would be great to see HR people, particularly Phase 7 on Wednesday evening. 

Looking forward to receiving an invite soon perhaps from a Taste of Murcia down our way.  Although communication re completion is very poor from Polaris so won't hold my breath.

Having said communication is poor we received a letter this morning about the Town Centre.  Due to tak eplace within the next 15 days and lasting approximately 12 months.
They are providing provisional services such as Golf Pro-shop, Bar-cafe with terrace, Supermarket, and Tennis Courts. 

Does anyone know if the sports complex near Phase 7 is still going ahead?  Would be interested to know if the large pool and small children's pool has been completed yet just along from the football and tennis courts near where the old farmer's road cut across the course.

We too have had an invitation to Birmingham Hyatt for this Friday. However, had a telephone call this morning saying the date has changed to the 25th April. If we are not in Spain at that time we will be going, and my husband is looking forward to some great VILLA talk with Paul and Jayne!!

In reply to Mastech question about the tennis courts pools etc... near Phase 7 we were there fitting ours out over Easter (phase 6) and this work it is very much in progress, and not much progress or sign of all of the above, It just like a red dusty road in australia, this seems to be taking forever and I cannot see any progress from the last time we were there in Jan this year.

We still only have a "builders supply" of water and no electric or gas, so had to rent another one during the fit out.

Like the apartment ,like the site ,like the weather but Polaris world customer service sucks!!!! They should adopt a catch phrase "Polaris world customer services Like it or Lump it!"

I still cannot believe it is legal to sell a place of residence that is not fit for occupation due no services connected, and then still have this situation many months on. You would not get away with this in the U.K.

Just received a Party Invitation from PW for 24th April in Leeds; 8pm 'til 12.

We live in York (only 25 miles away)so will be going. I don't know what the agenda is but it's a party

Mac and I live in Matlock and have an invite to the 'do' at the Birmingham Hyatt on 25th.  It will be nice to meet some happy Haciendans.  We've completed on one on phase 5 and are awaiting completion on phase 2 (Cilantro 7).  This forum is very useful to us so 'thank you' to all those intrepid earlybirds!

hi my husband and I are completing on Hacienda on the 30th April after some delay. I am arriving on Tuesday 22nd April pm staying at La Torre and intend to do some serious looking at and buying furniture on Wednesday and Thursday am. I was already out in Spain doing some "reckying" and have looked at DFS and IKEA, but want to suss out a few more places before I buy. I wonder if there are any other Polaris people out there who want to swap ideas hints maybe even come with me (I'll drive)?
