PLEASE can someone help Dama, a beautiful Beagle

We fly into Murcia on Saturday 19 April,but we have a problem ,according to the car rental broker the rental closes in Murcia AIRPORT AT 1300HRS on SATURDAY we arrive at 1900hrs and return the following Saturday at at 1830hrs.

Please can some-one help ,has any-one else experienced this and if so what did they do.

Ken, when you booked your car, didn't your broker ask for your flight details?

If they did (which they should have done), they should have known about the hours.

Sometimes in these situations a rep will meet you at the airport, but you should go back to the broker for details.

care hire can you not change the agent as when you normally book the car you put the times in and then it tells you iff the office is open?  I have had no problems the only one is that be careful as some are not at the airport and then oyu have to get a mini bus we used centurauo and they were good

sorry to hear you are having problems we always fly into Almeria and have found the best deals and service are through booking via doyouspain.com worth a try next time. we are flying into Almeria tomorrow and after sending this I hope we dont have a problem!!!!

We have used doyouspain & picked up cars from Almeria without any difficulty at all.

It is usually Auriga Crown that we get the car from & their mini bus picks you up outside the terminal building, just to the right by the bus stop. The office is then just a few yards off the roundabout.

If you happen to be flying back on a Sunday, it is worth knowing that there is a huge market that can cause a slight delay with the shuttle. The cars double parked on the roundabout are the usual cause!!

Just to clairfy,

Ken is flying into Murcia airport not Almeria, so if anyone can enlighten him as to the car hire arrangements at this particular airport, I'm sure he would be very grateful.

We flew into Murcia in December on a Saturday arriving at 19.30 hrs.  We booked through Carjet who uses Goldcar or Sol-mar.  We had no problems whatsoever.  Worth a try.

                   Thank-you for the clarification regarding the airport being Murcia not Almeria.I liken it to the Roman soldiers passing a message from one to another along a wall,the original message becomes distorted along the way.
