Hi
Your best bet is to go for a long term rent out as the holiday market is and will continue to be flooded with people in the same position as you, which will lead to a price war, which in turn will do no one except the holiday makers any good.
Contact Mc carthy agents over there, they will offer advice, sorry do not have their contact details but google will help.
This will be a good long term investment I think but expect lower unit values than you paid in the short to medium time frame, and of course the gas and water and electric will need to be on which as I am finding out seems to an option extra in Spain and after 3 months of constant requests has still got me no where, another point for you to consider If you think you will be able to complete and rent straight away.
Sorry to be a bit negative but I think you need to know how it is at this time on HR.
Mike.
