Just discovered the following as I have a driver under the age of 23 staying in our apartment and have had the devil's own job trying to find a cheap shuttle transfer from airport - resort

Hope this helps lots of people out there.  By the way, to anyone out there right now, let us know how the urb is coming on and what the weather's like!

PS - Should have said, I used Almeria - Vera Playa in June for my search and a return shared shuttle costs Euro 29.90 per person from the airport into the resort.  How great is that!

Just got back after a long weekend:-

Friday - windy and rainy

Saturday - glorious, 23 degrees and a burnt nose

Sunday - somewhere in the middle

Thanks for that Gareth AND you're out again in a few week's time.  You just can't stay away can you?  Just jealous, that's all!

My guests have booked the Resorthoppa shuttle for mid-June so I'll give everyone feedback when they return.  In the meantime, we're trying to establish exactly where the drop off point in Vera Playa would be?  I imagine one of the hotel car parks but I'll let y'all know when I do. 

I work with someone who used these guys in Greece and they were not told the pick up point when they were dropped off so they spent a lot trying to contact Resorthoppa to find out if same point they were dropped off ... obviously, check with the driver before you get off the shuttle and, if they don't turn up to pick you up and you're late for the airport, miss a flight or have to pay for an expensive alternative, would they compensate you or would you have to claim through your own travel insurance?
