Distressed properties

Hi all

i have had the pleasure of carring out the 1st snagging on the complex this morning

I can tell you that there was only 1 item i could find fault with and that was some painting to the kitchen ceiling

The finish and standard is the best i have seen for a long while and you as owners will be very happy with what is being presented to you on your visit , the work and the fittings are far better than what has previously been offerd

the appartment was very clean and having met the builder with keymare i felt he was taking pride with his work

They are moveing some of the sprinklers away from the buildings so the water is well away  from the walls of the apartments

When you complete you will have to collect the bedding etc from the keymare office

The blinds and front door handle is being fitted once you have completed , this means it will not be tarnished or damaged

I understand there are more visits later this week so hopefully other inspections will be as good as this one was for my client

I understand from Gemma it could be as early as mid to late May for client compleations for the first blocks

Hi there - David you said it could be as early as mid may for some blocks - we have bought on this complex and was really relieved to read your email re snagging as it looks as though there have been problems on the others - ours is not built into the hillside - ours is block 8 - are they looking to complete these in May - we were told when we signed last year it would be September onwards - last quarter of 2008 so are not expecting to complete in May but may be tempted to complete earlier than September.  Thanks for this update.

We are buying in block 5 (hillside) and like you were told it would be september before compleation. But we had a phonecall and documentation from keymare to say that ours were ready for courtesy visit, and that usually it takes a month or so after visit to complete. We hadnt planned on finalising this early, and from advise on forums have been told we dont have to complete if we are not ready to. We were booked to go out in May anyway so have organised our visit for then. Hoping to get NIE numbers etc sorted when we there and then maybe complete before end of August all going well. Having spoke to a couple of owners yesterday who have had a visit to there apartments

the feed back was it was problem free
