Today I received a phone -call from Luis,s office an English speaking secretary ,responding to an email I sent  over two month,s ago,concerning a duplicate payment. I feel that this is confirmation that he is getting feed back about our feelings ,and that is why I believe that we need to be strong as a group and support our communication links. 

I also believe that we need a place that we can discuss our community in a private ,instant access to reports from officials,news,links and recently a welcome from Presidente Monica,or just vote in the poll regarding the Summer opening of the Spa

Rampton 100 is merely a list of e-mail addresses set up to facilitate communication between English speaking owners on An Andalus Thalassa. I don't think it was ever intended to be a rival to any other site and was open to everybody to join. A very innovative idea much appreciated by many.

What is your point? Mine is that both are excellent.  I am a member of both are you? The purpose of the thread is to encourage owners to join the website. I enjoy the Rampton 100 and it was actually me who gave it that name and I was probably a member before you even started posting.  Please I am also taking no credit away from the founder member Ramps and I have stated in previous threads that it can compliment a website ,which includes other non English speaking nationalities.It is important that we act as a community ,not different groups ,as happened at the first community meeting,Monica has built a bridge between the nationalities,we now need a forum to share and understand the feelings of others. Then when the day of the meeting arrives ,no shouting ,we act as one,in the interest of the community.

We do not rent and we do not run a business,therefore my intentions are only to assist in creating a strong community,other urbanisations envy the pro-active support  that we have .

I will be pleased if this post creates a little bit of spice and excitement ,and brings to the attention of owners the need to be part of a linked group ,so join the Rampton 100 and commuity web-site ,send a PM to Andy or Noreen or follow the link in my signature. Only requirement is that you are an owner on Al Andalus Thalassa .Phase 1&2 ,block and number .

Perhaps my humour was  lost ,have you not seen the lottery quiz   1 vs the 100 ?

Sorry Ken, your humour was lost on me until you explained it, guess it must be the lovely weather we have now got at Thalassa and therefore no need to watch the box!  

I agree the Rampton 100 (now the Rampton 100+ as there are at least 111 members) should run alongside the Thalassa web site.  What we should be doing is encouraging owners to join the new site so that this EOS site for Thalassa can die and we can leave behind us all the silliness that been part of it over the past few weeks.  Although we will no doubt have some interesting and varying points of view debated on the new site (we already have a nice debate getting underway over the Spa) hopefully the need to score points etc. will disappear.

So come on owners move onto your own site and as Ken says sign up to Thalassa.  The EOS site can them just be accessed to keep up to date with general matters on Spain not Thalassa specific.  Also keep the Rampton 100+ going as a good way for English owners to stay in touch.

Sorry I'm off to the sun bed now on this lovely Thalassa morning.

             I agree with your post and as we become more organised as a community,I feel more confident about  the future of my second home in Thalassa. We become structured and that creates stability .
