I have started looking at mine and we are being charged for things we do not have
we are also getting charged for a light in the hallway that has never worked [since november] so why should on block 26 be charged for it when keymare shoudl have sorted it
carry on analysing your bill

I have emailed Luis again this morning & have told him about the many problems. I have told him that the cuotas need to be checked & that he needs to advise everyone that there is a problem.
I have also told him that they need to addess the issue of ability to vote if payments are not fully up to date while this is going on.
A copy of the email was also sent to Monica.

I have not received an email from Seasun either about this or the Community Meeting. I will be in Thalassa from Thursday for 3 weeks so will try and catch Luis in his office to see what is going on (or am I dreaming! one thing for sure is that I am not holding my breathe).

AS USUAL SEASUN MESS IT UP. WE ARE BEING CHARGED FOR UNDERGROUND PARKING WHICH WE DONT HAVE AND A GARDEN WE DONT HAVE. DONT THESE PEOPLE KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE BLOCKS AND THE FLOORS. THERE LEVEL OF COMPETENCE IS ZERO.

In common with others it would seem I am beginning to wonder what service we actually get from Seasun apart from an ability on their behalf to debit our bank accoounts.
The only reason I'm aware of Community meetings and cuotas etc is thanks to the sterling efforts of Noreen to keep us all informed.

THE LEVEL OF SERVICE FROM SEASUN IS ZERO. LIKE OTHERS WE HAVE TRIED TO TALK TO THE INVISABLE MAN OF MOJACAR LEFT MESSAGES ON HIS ANSERPHONE ETC. ALL TO NO AVAIL. MY QUESTION IS WHO APPOINTED THIS BUNCH IN THE FIRST PLACE AND HOW LONG ARE WE STUCK WITH THEM

I really feel the issue of Seasun's accountability and ongoing representation of our community is an urgent issue for discussion and voting at the meeting - in fact, I feel it is so urgent, we should call an extraordinary meeting with proxy votes specifically to address the issue of a vote of confidence re their management of our urbanisation. We are their employers (as plainly shown by our money being paid into their bank account) and it now appears the majority are not satisfied with the level of service provided. We have been more than generous and considerate of their lack of adequate supervision. As I've said before, how can anyone manage a development of Thalassa's size by remaining remote and inaccesible to the very people they are accountable to?
The dilemma is ... who or what do we replace them with? For quite some time, I have been thinking a dedicated manager employed by the community is the best way forward. Someone who is on site during appointed hours and accessible and responsible to all owners. Someone who can deal with problems and issues when they arise. Someone who can politely challenge freeloaders and irresponsible persons who abuse the facilities and actually DO something about it right there and then! Most of all,someone who is impartial and doesn't represent other organisations, doesn't have other additional forms of income to generate thereby spreading themselves thin on the ground and is RELIABLE AND TRUSTWORHY. He's out there, he's Superman and he's wearing the suit ... we just have to find him or her.
I know exactly who I would propose, but everyone will have their ideas on this and we are a cosmopolitan mix of nationalities so we would all have to be happy and able to converse/put our suggestions and queries to this person.
Okay, everyone, let discussion commence .........

I know that consideration has been given to this option & it was still being looked at when I was over at Thalassa a few weeks ago. As I understand it, we cannot have a vote at the community meeting being organised by Seasun House as it is not on the agenda.
As you say Suzi, another Extraordinary general meeting would have to be called & I am not sure exactly what number of owners we need in order to call an EGM & vote them out.
It is one hell of a job for one individual to take on & they would need to be fully supported by the President & VPs.
I think you are absolutely right that something needs to be done & soon, because it has gone on for too long. However, at the same time I think we need to gather all the facts on how to achieve what we want to achieve.

fully agree with suziQ, from the word go, Seasun's administration has been nothing short of abysmal. How on earth can we have any confidence in them?
How fortunate we are in having someone of Noreens's calibre holding things together, how long can we hold on to that? We should not have to rely on this wonderful ladies generosity in giving up her time on our behalf. Lets find the correct channel to proceed along and get this problem sorted for all of our benefits.

Dave, David & Denis - Thank you for your kind comments.
Just to let everyone know, I sent yet another email to our Administrator today & told him in no uncertain terms that if he didn't start talking to us then we would be looking to hold an Emergency General Meeting with the intention of voting Seasun out.
Guess what? It had the desired effect & I have had an email from him this evening & I will forward the comments out to the "Rampton 100".
He is going to telephone me tomorrow to discuss things in person & of course I will provide any update as soon as I can.
If anyone else wants details of the email, please send me a PM & I will forward to you.

Hi
Having read the many threads on the subject of the Cuotas, I decided to have a look at the one I received. I think it is a general template. If you carefully read the boxes and relate it to Monica’s notes, I think you may find that the Spread Sheet is not meant to be your Cuota, but an example of how you can check your own Cuota. You need to edit the bits in pink on the Spread Sheet to correspond with your own personal information, but don’t alter any other figures, and it will automatically calculate the total sum for you. When we did this we found that the Cuota came out correctly and agreed with the amount that we are currently being billed.
