We have bought on phase 2 and have recieved a letter to say it will be finished on 30th May.
We will be visiting around this time so will try and find out some info while we are over.

Hi Debbie We have bought an apartment in same block. We are going over on 15th June to sign Notary and hopefully get furniture delivered while we are there. Unfortunately we will have to return home until a further date.

Hi Guys,
We have now received our letter from Golf Invest to say our apartment is now ready and we are to sign between 7th and 21st July. We can't wait to get the keys now.

Hi Sharon, our solicitor signed on our behalf on Friday as we could not go out to Spain, unfortunately we ca't get there till September so we've got a bit of a wait. By the way whats happened to Pat have'nt heard from him for a while!

Hi Chris and Geoff,
Congratulations, bet you can't wait to get out there. If I can't get out to sign, then all the paperwork is in order for our solictor to sign for us, but it would be nice if we could be there and arrange for the furniture to be delivered so were ready to go.
Have not heard from Pat, he's been awfully quiet, hope he's ok. I would have thought he would have signed now as he was in the first phase.
Pat we would love to hear from you, as Marie and I need to watch you practising your walk back from the pub without falling the pools !!!

D-day has arrived. We are suppose to sign between June 22-July 4. We are going over 24-26 June to sort things out !!!!
Sharon you are right!!!!!!!!!!!! - we need a laugh while sipping our cervesas !!! Hopefully we will meet over the summer !! Thank you for that number as well

Hi All Brisas del marers glad to hear everything is going so well, l have being trying to get some response from useless Palmera properties who have not informed me of anything, (signing dates, which notory office,fees involved, the 90% mortgage they said was available when l first signed nearly 3and a half years ago, which bank it was with etc )absolutely nothing,there office in alicante has shut down and they will not answer the phone or e-mails at there main Benalmadena office, l have heard thay have moved again and there MD was arrested for frauduantly selling properties in the costa del sol.l will be out there June 23rd -july 4th.When l was there in march they said they could not get anyone to show me round or tell me the progress as tthey had no one in the area anymore, although they have made there commision and had there legal fees to be there and make sure everything is right for the signing etc so l will have to try a get that money back if they cant be bothered to do what they were paid to do. (l cant be the only one who went through them can l?) will keep you posted.Regards Pat.

Hi all brisas del marers we have had our letter from Golf Invest to sighn from 7th to 21st Of july. We have to wait for our agents to contacts us though and sort out the morgage etc. Getting realy exited cant wait to meet everyone, will Lifferys be our local meeting place for a few.

Hi all we have received today letter From Golf invest informing us to sign between 07/07/08 and 21/07/08 will probably sign on 21/07/08 as we were going over for two weeks holidays on 20/07/08 we will find accomodation for a few nights while we get furniture sorted.

Nice to hear from you! Yes our agents were P P we have not heard a single thing from them since they wrote and said our local office was closed and to contact the builder in future. I asked for a refund of the 3005 euros that we paid them as they had done nothing for it, but was told they don't do any refunds!! We got a solicitor other than the builders, and sorted a mortgage out online through a broker and got a better deal! The builder did actually e mail us to say the property was ready to complete and the solicitor did all the rest she signed last Friday as we could not go out..
We took a photo of your apartment when we were out in March, well I think it's yours! Ill put it on the photos, by the way thats Geoff on the balcony. Hope everything works out OK.

The builders mortgage is with Cajamurcia who have an office in Rojales near the bridge with the water wheel. There is also a young lady at the builders office in Rojales who is very helpfull if you give her a call.

Hi Chris/Geoff they never even told me that much and l had paid the 3000 and the second payment 16,800 which included there agency fees and legal fees and they have done nothing for it,so they should pay there fees back, (ha ha if only l could get a reply) as far as l can gather the builders bank has offered 70% thats 20% less than l was lead to believe by Palmera. so with the signing on fees etc that leaves me with a 22,000 euro bill, which l didnt have when l went to see the builder as l was not prepared for it.(about £17,500 at the present exchange rate) so what to do for the best,find the extra and hope l can get some back or just right it off (why should they get away with treating clients like this) Regards Pat.

As you probably know i did not complete on my apartment on mar y sol due to mis selling by our agent and the builder, when i told the builder that i was not completing and wanted a refund of my deposit ! he then after a short time offered me a 11000 euro reduction on the selling price, since then the spanish housing market has gone pear shaped and it is a buyers market, so i think you are in a good position to negotiate this 22000 euros in the light of the mis selling by palacios mar's contracted agent Palmera properties . good luck and try not to rush, time is on your side .

Hi Pat , I have just been looking on the repossession sites and notticed a number of mar y sol apartments on there already going for 84000 euros ? 2 bed 2 bath top floor worth considering when you are making your decision
