Hi all,

We had a letter and e mail today from our agents telling us that the apartments are finished and our lawyers our now starting the legal stuff so we can get our date to move in.

Anyone else had this ?

Hi Dave,

Where about are you on the development?

I'm on phase 3 - I know mines not ready as its currently being painted, kitchen units to be fitted and doors to be hung.  Its not far off though and golf invest have confirmed that the development is ahead of schedule.

I am in block that is opposite where the Golf Invest office used to be (ground floor corner)

When i was over there in February i was told by Juan in the office that every block was ahead of schedule and that my block woul be finished end of April instead of October and the rest would be finished around 6 to 8 weeks later.

I would imagine that the most of the work in all blocks is almost finished and it would be just the interiors left to complete, painting, kitchen fitting etc, as you have said.

I always think that it is a good sign when they tile the pool as most times this is one of the last things they get around to finishing.

From a personal point of view, i can"t wait and fingers crossed the legal stuff will go through quickly and easily !!!!!! and we can all settle down to a new life in the sun

I hope that i can get in for end of May, i have sorted a removal company and had a quote to fly my  large British Blue cat over, so i for one am raring to go.

Hi Guys,

I know we all want to get our hands on the keys asap, but I would make sure that the habitation licences are in place.  My understanding is there are two.  One for the build, and one for your apartment - if you sign and hand over money without both these in place then you have no legal come back, even with the solictors papers.  Others on the Mar y Sol went ahead without the licence and fortunately it worked out alright for them as the licences did come through.

We have waited this long, a little bit longer isn't going to make a big difference.
