Can I ask- do you all know each other? I'm (hopefully) a soon to be apartment owner and have logged on and this side of the forum everyone seems to know each other. We will be in Murcia- is any one else out there in Murcia?
Often your responses come from Estepona, Marbella - which we love - but we've found somewhere in Murcia in our budget. However we've holidayed in Mijas Costa, Calahonda, Competa, Nerja, Estepona, Duquesa, Cadiz, Medina Sidonia, El Rompido and Barcelona.
How do you all manage to meet up? And you're all a long way from Murcia.
PS- finally in the UK we have had real sun for a week!

Hi JHMurcia - welcome to the forum.
None of us knew each other until last month when 4 of us met up in Duquesa. Since then we had another costa del sol meet in Cabopino where there were another 4 members.
I have met EOS peeps when over in the UK and Dublin and its fun to see what everyone looks like!
We will be arranging more meets (hopefully) all through the year and if visitors are over they are more than welcome to come along and say hi.
I am based in Marbella, Smiley is in Estepona, Justin (its his website) is in Manilva, Roberto is Torremolinos and MikeT is wherever there is a nudist beach and a ring - when you see him he would LOVE to explain that one!
There are several members in Murcia - just look at their location under their name and there is no reason you cannot arrange a meet yourself.
If you are down our way let us know and we would loe to meet up with you.
Smiley - bit bloomin cold for the pool, unless its heated!

Hi JH we are a very friendly crew - a few of us know one another personally and there are some up your way who have met I believe - have a good look around the site and you will find some local friends -possibly even neighbours - this is our equivalent to Friends only we are just united - we havent been separated yet to be reunited - actually perhaps we should change the name of the site to friends united - and then being a complete subversive we could morph it into Manchester United.. Havent yet got as far as a long distance meet but no doubt our forum organisational ladies who keep us all in check (Fibby and JeanSis) might have some ideas on that one. I am a man so could barely organise a piss up in a brewery - I just do as I am told!

Funny you should say that Hudsey but thats just where I keep mine - actually its more like a dog lead - a webbing strap O'Neill I think - see it more as a lead coz I am like a dog and very well trained and always walk to heel and sit when instructed etc - I am just imagining a crocodile on a lead now (surreal) - NOT!!

If you bothered to read my opening message on this thread you`ll see that everything since has been taken out of context. I was just trying to explain another of my minor mishaps and perhaps a few friends may wish to meet up to discuss my "Small" problem in greater detail!

In a former life I was an x-ray film & eqipment salesman (and part time burglar!) and I recommend everyone to keep a piece of x-ray film under the door mat for situations like MikeT's. Unless of course you want to turn up at your next door neighbour's door dripping wet in your underwear in an attempt to garner sympathy and an invitation to come in. I've been called on several times by my neighbours to assist with my x-ray film. It's also saved my own blushes at least twice!

Because you have seen me out and about in Boys Town obviously Rob - was I wearing the fur lined tiger skin job or the anaconda snakeskin - two of my previous victims - I know which dress and shoes I was wearing - incidentally @ Alberts today for another "spankin" Sunday lunch - they have changed the leg of lamb to shoulder and its enormous - had to bring bolsas de perros home with us
Mike your needs are irrelevant to all of us - other than someone to keep you out of trouble - Veronika needs to take you in hand and get you sorted out (if she can) or are you beyond redemption? And if you notice back to my first reply I said to ring me, you know the number and we can sort something out
