Going rate for cleaner or cleaning agency?
The Comments |
What's the going rate for a cleaner these days in/around Fuengirola also any recomendation for a cleaning agency etc?
I guess there are 2 options:-
1. Hire Spanish/Eastern European direct
2. Hire through cleaning agency

You know there is a third option
Hire a Brit and let them do half a job and charge you twice as much!!
Surprised you missed it!!

What nationality does make the best cleaner?
It's very hard to find a person who can both clean and iron!

€10 an hour seems to be the going rate for all (British, South Amercian, Spanish ...)
I always find it amazing! Cleaners make more money that office workers who on avarage hava a wage of €900 for a month which works out to €5.625 an hour!
Looks like my mother was wrong when she said i needed to make sure i had a career to make good money!
I can recomend a good cleaner in Fuengirola, PM me for details.

The minimum wage in Spain is €6.41 an hour, so I think your calculations must be net of tax?
Office workers have paid holidays, pensions and job security. They also get 14 pay-days a year. Not many cleaners can boast that.

I can also recommend a cleaner in Fuengirola. Actually, she is more than a cleaner - she makes minor repairs to things too, and is always sorting things out round the house. And she has a brother who can handle the bigger repair jobs. She charges 10 pounds an hour too but she is very reliable and worth every penny. PM me for details.
