I have a friend with similar qualifications and she couldn't find anything. She's been here for 18 months now and hasn't had any luck at all. I hope you are luckier than her

thanks for the reply, would it be better to do seasonal bar/cleaning work and save for the low season?

Hi Valerie
Do you speak fluent Spanish? If not, I suspect that in the current economic climate you will find it extremely difficult if not impossible to find work. That includes seasonal bar/cleaning work too. Unless you have friends or family here to stay with or have been offered a job, you will need enough money to tide you over for at least one year - in fact I think with the "crisis" that should probably be at least two years!
Good luck.
