At the half it was 2 - 2 as everyone in the world could see the ball had gone over the goal line...
.... except the ref and his 'assistants'.
What would the outcome have been should that goal, which was a goal, been allowed?
Would England have gone forward with renewed vigor and won the match?
However, they came out at the half thinking:
"We are playing against 14 men, what's the point!"
Which is what I thought when England's second goal was disallowed!
FIFA need to embrace goal line technology, even if the only use a 'sky judge' as they do in International Rugby.
If a country loose from fair play then fine, but if they loose because of 'technicalities' or 'inadequacies' during the match due to the poor performance of a referee and their assistants, then why should they play in the first place??????
