Yes, we heard a lot of car horns too, even though we live on the edge of town. If Spain actually WIN the World Cup, I dread to think what it will be like here! Actually, if they win we will go into the town centre to join in the party, which we did when they won the European Championship.

July 11th! We'll be back in the UK after Tuesday or we'd maybe have accepted your offer to stay overnight, Sue, & joined in the revelry. Imagine IF they won it though, the roads from us to you were bad enough when we came over before. I was pretty unnerved driving on the motorway around Murcia I tell you! That half rabbit head was nothing in comparisson!

Are you going to be back in August? it would be worth visiting us during the Vendimia/Moors & Christians/Folklore Festival/Our Lady of Assumption celebrations!!! We can promise you there will be no rabbits heads to scare you!!! There will definitely be lots of vino tinto (not too much rosado though!)

I fly out on World Cup Final day!! Now 4 years ago I flew to Rome the day after Italy had won the World Cup! Might be an omen!

Sue, we never come out in July/August, it's too hot for us. We're back out September 7th for 50 days so ask Jumilla to hold off till then.
