I also have been a customer of Al Andalus Car Hire and have found them excellent to deal with in terms of competitive prices and excellent customer service. I particularly like their Airport collection arrangement and Full/ Full fuel policy.

I am just back from Almeria and was badly effected by the French Air Traffic Controllers strike. My flight  was cancelled while at the Airport and I had to re book for a week later. I therefore needed the car for for this week. AlAndalus came to my rescue both by providing a car at short notice and also ensured that I got to and from the  Airport.

I really appreciated this service particularly when I heard of the difficulties some of the other passengers had when dealing with some of the National Car Hire firms.

As I have to go out to Spain in September I thought why not give them a look, 13 days rental 407€ almost the same car as Do You spain which is 140€.

I can't even enter any dates! Have reported this to Al Andalus ages ago and still I can't get a quote

Just done the same dates and times again this morning with this company Al Andalus for a Vauxhall Corsa = 286€, did exactly the same with do you Spain comparing like for like cars Clio = 59.37€. Don't know if the other company includes in the total price full tank and the extra insurance.

I personally have never had any problems with do you, so I will stick with the devil I know.

Perhaps pommers when you load the webpage of Al,  let it sit for a couple of seconds longer then normal before you do your enquiry, see if that helps you.

Any plans to expand to Malaga?

Hi Baz - I've just tried your suggestion and lo and behold it worked. But then when I tried to change the dates the calendar icon has disappeared again. Tried in 3 different browsers but same on all 3.

Al Andalus sent me a PM about it so hopefully they will have a look and see what the problem is.

Just in case it was a lucky shot for me the first time I have had one of my office girls enquire and it worked out exactly the same as when I did it and posted a short while ago, she's more savvy then me with this sort of stuff and reckons it still could be the way your browsers are working, she did suggest to turn of any spyware like Panda / Norton because sometimes these wont allow some web pages to fully load, and can interrupt the most simple of pages, but don't forget to quickly turn them back on if you do try this.

All my laptops and computers are Apple, but it's hard to see why this should make a difference like as in, I can and you cant, other then this beats us.

I wonder if it is my Firewall? It can be a bit over-enthusiatic at times.
