Two years in Spain!

Hi all,

Well! It wasn't an easy move, but two years ago today we arrived at our new home here in Spain.

We left the UK on the 30th November 2008 and having crossed Sea and Land over two days, we arrived!

Off down to the port to celebrate tonight, as didn't know which night would be best to celebrate, the day we left or the day we arrived?

So we thought it best to celebrate both! lol

A big congratulations TechNoApe to you and your family!! Wish I could say that my OH and I are living at our place in Spain ...

Wow those two years have gone fast!  It doesn't seem that long ago we were featuring you on the Siesta Show as a Spain newbie!

Glad you're still here and enjoying it.

What a coincidence!   We left Prague on November 30thafter three enjoyable years  and after driving through Germany and France arrived in Andalucia on 2nd December 2008...

The past two years have been extremely enjoyable and we plan on another few years before moving on again, probably to France for a while.

The best thing we did was to sell all our properties, business and residential, in the UK and Canada.  We are now footloose and fancy free and only need to call Pickfords when we decide to stay on.

We feel it's important to have something 'new' to look forward to and it's certainly been interesting, comparing lifestyles and cultures in very different parts of Europe.
