college/ apprenticeships
The Comments |
My daughter is 16 and currently in college doing her diploma in child care. If we were to move to Spain what would be her options would she have to enroll into school until she was 18? And is there opportunity to do things such as apprenticeships for example in the international school or nursery?? How does it all work??

It is difficult to give an answer without seeing the features of the course your daughter is doing. We will be pleased to give you more orientation if you provided further details.

Her course is two full days a week at college and she does two days a week in a placement setting. she is currently on placement at our local primary school. She is then assessed within the placement and obvioulsly has essay and test to do throught the year which all go towards her final end of year mark.

I'm assuming you're not planning for your daughter to continue her education in a Spanish school?
In terms of apprenticeships, I'm not aware of this happening although these things tend to be more of "who you know". You/ your daughter would need to contact individual international schools to see what they can offer.
