Now come on Bob be honest you know how boring Arsenal were until Wenger came along then everything changed. That's because Glen Hoddle hypnotised him when they were together at Monaco. He showed him how to play attractive football then told him to join the best club in London. Trouble is he got confused as to which North London club Glen meant and joined Arsena by mistake!

Fibby you can have as many as you like. You will need them.
Bob. You won sweet FA with entertaining football or your version of it. Bet you prefered to win than entertain.

Thats right JC1. We have entertained for the past 10 years or so but have won nothing the last 2 seasons because we have a transitional team average age 22. Watch us go soon. Maybe next season. Bob.

Any news on the missing dog?
Bob. You will need a new avitar when henry decamps in barcelona this summer
Best team I saw at old traffird this year was arsenal but I feel they have too many youngsters. And most of them drop by the wayside. I have been through lots of talk of fergie fledgelings and only a few survive. At arsenal its the same. The only player to come through recently was cole.fabregas will but not many more.

Blimey JC, Your posting at 6-46am. You are an early bird, i dont get up till 6-50am. Ha Ha. Yes Fabregas could end up the best midfielder around, but there are lots of other talented youngsters like, Hoyte, Eboue, Hleb,Djourou, Rosicky, Diaby, Van Persie, Adebayor, Denilson, and 18 year old Walcott to name but a few. Henry has committed himself to Arsenal and i have not read or heard anything that would sugest he is about to make a complete "U" turn but you never know JC. As for Cole who is now at Chelsea basically because he wanted £60,000 per week and Arsenal only offered him £55,000. Ah. poor chap. He had an illegal meeting in a hotel in London with Mouriniho, [ Did they not think a bar person or some employee would not reconise them] Doh........................ then they said they just bumped into each other by chance and had sandwiches together. Ha Ha. Wayne Bridge of Chelsea could keep him out of the team and we now have Clichy who if not as good yet, i think will be better. So what goes around can come around. Incidentally i read this morning that Wenger is after Michael Owen. Watch this space..................... Sorry to bore you JC, i am going back to the old Arsenal habits. Cheers. Bob.
P.S. Had United really gone for it on Saturday, i do think they would have won J.C. This message was last edited by HAWKINGS111 on 5/23/2007.

This will be a crunch season for Arsenal. They were'nt convincing last season and I agree with JC many youngsters don't progress. If they all fulfil their potential then you will have a great season. But if they don't what is plan 'B' ?

It seems early but I am in my place in spain at moment so is 7 45. Was just checking my emails and saw yours. Couldn't stop myself and my wife thinks I should see a doctor about it. So I responded.
All the players you mention actually cost money or were bought very young. No englishmen amongst them. However that is irrelevant as I don't think all of them will last. Fabregas and van persie only. Nobody wants michael owen after his injuries and salary requirements. Do you know that van persie is fergie's favourite non united player ?
Does pauline support arsenal?

Hi Alan.
Its very simple. Plan B is to make sure that Plan A really works.
Hi JC.
Yes Pauline supports The Arsenal, and we like Fergie just happen to think that Van Persie is tops. The only player we would swop him for is Ronaldo, but i guess Fergie would not go that far. Michael Owen??? Well i dont think Arsenal would have too many problems with his wages, as long as he stays away from injuries. He has had 2 major ones and been very unlucky, so his luck should change. I would love Wenger to take a chance and play with 3 strikers, the 3rd one laying just behind the front 2. For me it would be any 3 from: Owen, Adebayor, Van Persie, Henry, and maybe Walcott but i think he will need another season.
There should be a lot of banter when next season starts. Cant wait. Bob.

Early start again for me here in sunny spain!!
The close season will be very interesting with all the new money coming into the game. I am thinking of liverpool here and after last nights game (sorry PeteY they will be able to go after the big players. Funny how that when united were bought by americans it was tantamount to a crime but liverpool and villa follow us , again, and nothing is said. Suppose some are pioneers and some are followers.
I expect spurs too to be stronger but the big question will be who do chelsea go and buy. They will buy anybody to stop the rest.
