Hi,
Heard that Stelios is starting a new airline called Fast Jet as he has fallen out with his people at Easyjet. Propbably wont be operational for a year or so if it ever happens. Lets hope he puts RA out of business.

You can't book flights so far in advance with Ryanair. Flight schedules change every six months.

You can book further ahead than 6 months with Ryanair, it just depends when they release their flights to and from certain destinations, for instance Bournemouth to Alicante has been on sale for months now and you can book flights upto 27th October 2012. Flights to Malaga and Murcia can also be booked upto Oct 2012. Having a quick look flights to Alicante are only available from Bouremouth, Glasgow and Manchester at the moment. Cant be long now until the others are released, surely?

Hi Ken,
Yes hubby booked flights Thurday to fly out to Alicante for Easter. We have been waiting for these to be released for a while now. Have just read a report that R A are pulling most of there winter flights to Alicante due to the dispute with Aena, unfotunately for you Mickey G, Bournemouth, Doncaster to name a few will have no flights whatsoever and airports like Glasgow, Manchester will have restricted flights.
If you want to read more on this contact@simplynetworking.es ans scroll down to the article.

I'm waiting on Birmingham, Bristol or East Midlands to Alicante next summer. Seems strange they are not out yet, Mr O'leary likes to make money and I would guess pretty much every airline has already released nexts summer's flights which is surely taking potential bookings from Ryanair. Not to mention the amount of money they would or could of collected by now if they were already for sale.

I have had my Jan 2012 flights booked with Ryanair for over a month . Into Alicante
They have had my cash and confirmed the booking.
Now I get an email from them rescheduling my flight from a Thursday to a Tuesday.
Again they do as they please.
At least they changed my flight to the Tuesday with no extra charge, even though the tuesday flight had a £30 tax.
I even got straight through on the 10p a min telephone.
Just waiting to see if they change my Feb 12 flight.
I have looked at booking all my 2012 flights as far as I can as I do around this time each year.
I find all Ryanair flights heavy loaded with Taxes
With Bmi Baby & Jet2 from East midlands coming in a lot cheaper
So it seem's, not now the cheapest budget Airline

Has anyone applied for the new Ryanair Top up Master card yet.
The Fees Revealed
The card unsurprisingly seems to be one of the most costly on the market. Fees include;
· For every transaction and withdrawal abroad you will be charged a 5.75% foreign transaction fee, where other prepaid cards charge typically 2.75% to as low as 1.4%.
· ATM charges abroad will cost £2 on top of the 5.75% fee where some other card providers have no additional charge at all.
· If the card is not used for over 6 months there will be a £2.50 inactivity charge per month levied going forwards.
· If this £2.50 charge cannot be taken due to lack of funds, there is a further £10 negative balance fee.
· Minimum load of £150, other cards have a minimum load of typically £100 to as low as just £50.
· £4 cash over the counter fee (for withdrawing money at banks or bureaux de change) again over the 5.75% charge if you do this abroad.· A £2 UK ATM fee.
· A 50p charge for all transactions, other than RyanAir bookings, from April 2012.
Customer Savings
FairFX have revealed that over £2million in booking fees have been avoided by using their prepaid card since RyanAir started to accept prepaid MasterCards as a free form of payment in December 2009.
As well as the charges whilst you are abroad, you may be thinking you can use the card in the UK in which case you will again be looking at hefty charges including;
CEO of FairFX, Stephen Heath said “Previously RyanAir customers could choose a prepaid MasterCard that was competitive for purchases abroad and in the UK. Now they have to use what is one of the most expensive cards on the market with little other use than booking their flights with.”
Stephen Heath went on to say “It’s interesting reading the terms and conditions for this new ‘RyanAir Cash Passport’ and I think RyanAir customers are in for a nasty shock. The Travelex “Cash Passport” has also consistently had higher charges than many other prepaid card providers and it’s rather fitting that RyanAir, also known for its excessive charges, have jumped into bed with them.”

I really wish there was a reasonably cheap alternative to Ryan Air. Everytime I get on their planes I am grimacing. EasyJet are ever so expensive but I do prefer flying with them.

Hi,
You would be mad to use this card for credit the best idea would be to only use the R A card to buy your flights that way they will not charge you anything, the initial £6.00 charge for the card is given back in vouchers for you to use against your next flights booked.
I would never give M O'L any more money than I have too so my R A card will only be used for flights therefore saving me 3 x booking fees.
Credit Cards are the route of all evil and should be banned thats my rant over for the day
