I live on Camposol, so from the horses mouth......
Camposol has a lot to offer residents & tourist alike, we have a medical centre, chemist, council office, bars, restaurants, a train that connects the sectors, insurance offices, a large supermarket, ferreteria, dentist, electrical shop, travel agency, car rental office, an 18 hole golf course, spa hotel and much more. There are a number of groups that operate on Camposol too, that offer day trips, holidays, dances, and even cruises. Gardening clubs, art classes etc. FAST is the latest venture for some of the residents, supported & trained by the Cruz Rojo, if someone is ill they should of course call 112, but afterwards you can call FAST & they will be there in minutes to help out before the ambulance arrives.....
And yes you will be able to buy a villa at a great prices.
Yes we have had some problems with a few of the houses, but if you watch Spanish tv, so have the rest of Spain. Camposol is on the up, but as usual there are always those individuals who prefer to knock things. My advise would be to come to Camposol & see for yourself... maybe even rent for a while..... Camposol may not be to every ones taste... Spain for that matter may not be to everyone’s taste. But that’s what makes us individuals.
Aside from the actual urbanization of Camposol, I think we live in one of the best places in Spain, we are 20 minutes from the wonderful beach town of Puerto de Mazarron...which now has a very upmarket marina, we have miles of unspoilt beaches (Bolnuevo to Percheles) with no development, the Sierra Espuña is 20 minutes away with fantastic walking & activities. The historic cities of Murcia & Cartagena are just 30 minutes away ..... and that’s not forgetting one of the best climates in Spain.
Kathy... a very happy resident of Camposol
