If all estate agents started selling property this way you wouldn't need any paperwork or exhibitions.. and no-one would argue!

Great video growler, although I think I have seen this before.  I saw one that a Spanish developer did recently with some guy in a dressing gown....but I don't think they had the same success as the ones in the video

Hope the show goes well georgia.

Justin

It 's bad business pratice to charge money to spending money.

I am with  ADS words of wisdom - Spain  will only become respected in business dealings when it' s

profesionals (estate agents ?) fight to remove the corruption from it's system. - We can all dream !

Hi,

Just read the latest from a Place in the Sun..........It's now TWO tickets for £15 plus a FREE 6 months magazine subscription.!!!!!

Also they report that sales in January have increased by 42%, yet the National Institute of  Statistics report sales have decreased by 28%........who should we believe ????

Last but not least, the latest on the poor Prior family, the Administration Court in Almeria have rejected their claim for compensation, and this has been going on since they had their house demolished in 2008, how many more years are they going to have to live in their "garage",     I wonder if when they first purchased their property that they were told by.. the Seller/ the Agent/ the Lawyer/ etc. etc... that all the paperwork was in order ???

 Hi All

I have read this thread and felt I would like to comment..........

I think the way the Priors and others who have been victims of bad practice have been treated is unforgivable!! That's a given.

But, I would also like to give credit where it's due.

When we bought our property 5 years ago, we didn't buy from Georgia (he didn't have property on his books at the time where we were looking to buy).

However, when we found the property we have since bought, our agent was brilliant and solicitor was excellent.

Being an Estate Agent myself, I did have quite a bit of property buying knowledge, although Spanish transactions are quite a bit different in many ways.

Anyhoo, my point is, I contacted Georgia as well, to make enquiries regarding the builders, legalities etc. just to get his take on it.

Georgia came straight back to me on this and I was very happy. How many Estate Agents would be bothered to help out when it wasn't his sale. Not many, I can assure you.

There have been numerous people on this forum that have bought properties with Georgia and have been more than happy with his service. It is hard to find reputable agents (Both in Spain and UK)  We met some of the "sharks."

So, would just like to say, I think Georgia is a most reputable Agent and if there were more like that, maybe there wouldn't be so many people in the horrendous situations, and I stress, NO FAULT OF THEIR OWN.

Good Luck with the exhibition Georgia. (I won't be there, will be in Spain, yay )

 Thank you Candyfloss,

I will be honest....i had forgotten about that...seems years ago now.

I dont think anyone would disagree with your priors comment and hopefully this will be a thing of the past.

Just about to call Ryan Air and see if they have anymore info on Thursday's strike.....

Hopefully i will make it to Earls court on time.........enjoy your hols.

Must be your lucky week georgia, what with all the glorious weather you're heading to, not being charged by Mr Ryan for changing your flight (how the *&%$ did you manage that?) and being mentioned on the radio this morning?

Looks like you may be heading for a good show!

Justin

P.S. In case you're wondering, one of your comments from another thread was part of a discussion of Talk Radio Europe this morning :)

 Hi Justin,

I am really not sure how i managed it!!!!

I asked what the risk was to my flight considering the strike and the lady offered to move my flight for free......no messing...i didn't even ask..so i guess that answered my question?!

Guess it would cost them more when i claimed for expenses on their insurance after the fact??

Intrigued??? what was being discussed on Talk Radio???

Good point as they would have to fork out if you were affected by the strike...even if it had nothing to do with them.

On Talk Radio they quoted this line of yours about the General strike:

"If they make me miss this show after the money i have spent i will make it my lifes work to hunt down the man that made the decision to strike and make my feelings known!!"

They made you sound like a bit of a nutter

Justin
