As far as I can tell, all Spanish regular bread contains sugar, which I dislike intensely.
The baguettes however, are another story entirely, absolutely gorgeous!!
I buy a loaf, well two at a time, from Iceland in San javier called "Happy Bread" medium sliced for I believe 1.80 Euro. It is closest to Jacksons sliced which I loved but the shop that stocked it closed down. That was 1.80 as well. I have never paid 3 Euro for a loaf in Spain!! Surely, youré ávin´a larf??
