Sun - satellite outages - possible interruption to signal - UK TV Costa Blanca - Calida
The Comments |
If you briefly lose satellite signal, don't panic - it is a sun outage and normal this time of year.
The sun is directly behind the satellite and swamps the signal with interference. This usually happens during February / March - then between September / October - can last 10-15 minutes per day, & can take place up to 15 days. Once position has peaked the interference gradually decreases, this is usually between 10-11 a.m & around 10-15 minutes duration - reducing after peak.
