Thanks Johnzx. By "all establishment" do you mean all police establishment?

Photowriter have you followed through this procedure?

Exactly ALL, no exceptions, even the Consumer's Office !!!!

As I said,   "In most circumstances, including in my experience with the police, the matter gets resolved before the consumer’s office gets involved".

Spain has relied heavily on tourism and people moving to live in the sun. However it seems to have fogotten that. The economy is failing and for longer as fewer and fewer people holiday and reside there."

You have a rather lopsided view of the Spanish economy if you don't mind me saying so.    Tourism accounts for 11% of Spain's revenues, and it is not  on the decline, quite the opposite:

  • Spending by foreign tourists in Spain reached nearly 56,000 million euros in 2012, representing a 5.7% increase, according to data released yesterday by the Ministry of Industry. This is a new peak in the historical series, which has been measured since 2004, and has served largely to compensate for the downturn experienced in domestic tourism.

As for "fewer people reside there", I presume you mean British expats?   Their effect on the economy is negligible away from the Costas.

As for crime, Spain's massive unemployment and lack of a decent benefits system will eventually force many ordinary people to become criminals.  Give it twenty years and it might be half as bad as the UK.

Eggcup, You really are something else.

Read the post again, and once again if you struggle with it.

The post from the person who told of bad things happening in Spain was going to move to Portugal because of the terrible crime rate in Spain, among other things was someone who got their head bashed against a brick wall, and if you read their post correctly they knew of someone that got caught, it seems for doing nothing quite often, on a regular basis....So again out of Spain into Portugal ...NO crime.

Which to me, and i could hazard a guess to maybe one or two others that means.......No crime in Portugal.......Hence my words about having your child kidnapped.......meaning, now this is just for you......WHAT! NO CRIME IN PORTUGAL THEN !!!. Yeah right.

And again for you, and you only....Please, Please,... tell me just how well the police did on this case in Portugal.

Sadly you took my words the wrong way, but being female i suppose that's excusable. Well that's the excuse most females like to come up with when they know they are wrong.

NO i wont say sorry, for what, so you who cannot understand something, or work out any meanings of a message.

Yes, Elaine.  Thanks for that.  Your personal attack on me (not the first) shows that you're a lovely, sweet, feminine type.  I wish I was like you; ganging up with men against another woman at the first opportunity.  You're a credit to your sex.

Sorry Eggcup, for having a view, which is not identical to yours.

Just because we are females does not mean we have to agree with silly people, whether females or otherwise.
