am looking at moving perminantly at the start of next year, to a village in andalucia, we intend to pop over to friends in august and at that stage apply for our NIE numbers residencia and open a bank account, (if we can sort out and sell our uk home by then, will also be looking a buying a place we have seen in the village) we will be going into the police station in Antequera for these, does anyone or has anyone used them for this, if so
a) what is the cost,
b) what is the turn around time (can someone pick them up if we are back in the uk?)
c) what forms are needed (any we can fill out and take with us)
d) is there an english speaker there, we are going with friends who have very good spanish
e) beside our original passport and a photocopy for the NIE and the bank do we need one for our residencia do we need other paperwork?
and any more info that would be useful, we know there have been lots of changes recently, and we will be registering as non-residents to start with using thier address as a base
