holiday rental- owner responsibility

Hello, we are considering renting out our place next year just to family and friend and not on a large scale, I have looked for a definitive answer as to what is required by law (ie insurance etc) but cannot find a list of everything, I am aware of the tax side and will instruct our accountant to do that side of things. Its more of things like if landlords certificates as in the UK are needed etc.
Does anyone have a complete list?if its to long we probably wont bother!
