Agents renting property fees

Just made enquiry on a couple of properties around Los Alcazares (Murcia) and the agents want a one off fee from me, that is the same as the monthly rent, so 500 euro per month rent ,agents wants 500 euro fee. Dream on. And know doubt the agent wants 10%--15% pcm from the owner from the rent.If iwas renting a property out i would not use this type of agent as the set up fees they ask will but people off. Like me
