IBI Impuesto Bienes Inmuebles Urbana Payments

I have just paid my IBI for this year.
Noticed Valor Catastral has been revalued Adjusted down.
But payment has gone up.
Any Explanation Please.

Probably the percentage has gone up. The councils estimate how much they will need. If house prices reduce, the percentage needs to rise including inflation. There are also the reports that some 90,000 have been removed from the padron therefore the amount paid by those remaining will have to rise to keep the money coming in.

Maybe end of Year Non Resident tax will be reduced as I think that is based on VC.
