Cleaning Contract UK
The Comments |
Bit off the topic of Spain, but has anybody had contract dealings for a cleaning contract, my wife is a cleaning manger with a company that has the cleaning contract in a suppermarket in the Midlands Uk, Here we go,the store manger has told her ( my wife ) to bid for the contract, but she has know idea of how much to bid,She has a team 5 staff Including her self, doing 10/15 hour contact, the wage bill is £900 per week and she has a budget for £80 per month for materials. Has anybody got a rough idea of what they think suppermarket would be paying at the moment, per month. ???

One of those opportunities that doesn't come round that often hotjoe ! You have some of the information needed to make a bid but if you are not buisness people it must be difficult. You need to drill down further into the overheads, would you have to pay National Insurance for the staff? would you need to set up and administer a PAYE scheme for staff tax payments? would you need a accountant? would it be VAT registered? would the operation require transport (van)? You would need workplace insurance without a doubt and probably public liability
Would the existing cleaning team be happy jumping ship to work for you? what action would the existing company take when they find out what their manager is planning?
Lots to consider - good luck
