Hi, I want to access Netflix etc but understand that to do so I need a VPN that will show my computer as being in the uk. However I also download torrents. The uk has blocked many torrent sites so I assume that my IP address cant be in the uk. Has anyone found a good VPN service which would allow me to do both. thanks nic.

Be aware that Netflix are now identifying vpn and dns access - we have netflix on our tv and were subscribed to the UK service (we subscribe to a DNS service and have changed the ip settings in the TV) but recently they have stopped the service because they can see what we have done. Because I don't want to change the TV settings (we use ITV player, BBC iplayer, etc.) I now have subscribed to the Spanish Netflix and can use this on the Apple TV or PS4 (can't use it on the TV because of the settings). There isn't much difference between the UK and Spanish Netflix.
I use strongvpn and strongdns and have never had a problem.

Yes Netflix can block a VPN and do. I changed to UK DNS settings with MPN and no problem since. I find the Spanish Netflix poor in content especially in comparison to the USA Netflix..
