Hello all

We have been looking to buy a property for a while now and have an opportunity to buy a townhouse near Malaga at a very very reasonable price.

We weren't especially looking for a townhouse but buying in the campo just seemed to be showing too many obstacles for us..we are not looking to relocate to Spain...this is a holiday home / investment for now..it is not in the commerialized area of Malaga...it is very much in the real Spain as they say..

Can any of you lovely people share your experiences good or bad with regards to living in a townhouse..

would very much appreciate it

thanx

Hi SammyJo,

Is there any chance of you staying in the property for a short break? If not there must a rental property close by, you would then be able to sample this type of living, we've stayed in a village close to Malaga and loved the laid back way of life, albeit us being in a small hotel in the centre of the village.

Regards

Hep

Hi Hep

Thanks for the reply...we know the town well and have been there a few times on holidays but always stayed outside the town...was just wondering what town life in Spain is really like !

The house has a huge roof terrace where you can see all over the town...:-)

I would not advise you to buy in Spain ,when we the UK where in the EU the Spanish conned us right left and centre with misleading property sales tactics and just blatantly lying to us to get a sale .The local Spanish government stood back and watched as people lost their life saving and done nothing to stop it ,all for the price of a back hander so god only knows how they are going to treat the UK citizens that own property  in Spain.
