Federación Andaluza de Caza

Has anyone had any dealings with this organization? Briefly, I was stopped walking my dogs in the campo in late June because they were not on a lead. The fact that there were several other dog owners there at the time, all with their dogs off the lead like mine, did not seem to be a problem for this individual, the only difference being that they were Spanish locals and I was a foreign local of 9 years living here. He told me that I would be prosecuted. He had no form of identification other than a very grubby, and small, badge on an equally grubby t-shirt. I tried telephoning the federation in Malaga, no reply. I tried emailing them, no reply. If such organizations are reluctant to communicte how on earth is anyone supposed to know what is acceptable and what is not? Does anyone know if there are certain times of the year that dogs are not allowed off the lead? Thank you.

Thank you very much, interesting reading, I will keep my dogs on a lead from now on but I regret having to do this. I can only walk using crutches and therefore the dogs do not get the exercise they deserve and need having to walk as slowly as I do. My dogs are rescue dogs and definately not galgos.

the trick here would be to look like a Spanish person. What the different look is is beyond me? Maybe you have g.b. on your back and they have e.s.
