Finca near Villablanca
The Comments |
Hello,
Wonder if other members have and are prepared to share similar experiences.
We are in the process of buying a finca near Villablance to use as a holiday home. It has a well but no electricity connection, apparently this would cost about 30,000 Euros to connect which we cannot afford. We have been told that most fincas use solar and have backup generator. Would anyone like to share their experience of living off grid. Also my husband is concerned that that will might not be able to provide sufficent supply of water due to agricultural activities in the neighbourhood.
Your emails would reassure us that we are not insane only a bit adventurous.
Thanks - Any other members close to Villablanca pls feel free to join the Villablanca Blog!

There are lots of lovely properties available with at least SOME services. Great if you planned to live there all year round. We have friends and neighbours who love to toil as that is the life they have chosen. Trawl this site and discover some lovely country life.Read the past Blogs too.

Ask yourself this how would l cope in the UK ,with no Gas/Water/Electricity and l presume you have no mains toilet connection or rubbish disposal and you will come up with the answer yourself. Good luck anyway.
