recent amendments to horizontal act regarding disabled and elderly

Am I going mad or imagining that I saw an article on here about recent changes (2018) in the Horizontal Act regarding the elderly and disabled in communities and that the ayumiento will pay up to 70% of the costs of addressing these needs?

There are a number of postings related to this on the Running a Community thread.

But this is the latest information i was given,  changes not adopted by parliament.

Just to throw a spanner in the works, this response today from the legal department of our Administrator...

” As you may know, the modifications were included in the Decree, approved by the Government, related to rentals and properties. The Decree came into force in December but today has been refused by the Parliament. Therefore, this means that the Decree is not in force and the modifications are not in force. Likely, the Government will present a new one shortly.”

Looks as if Spanish politicians are having as many problems as their counterparts in the U.K. on agreeing on ways forward. 😀
