Sometimes it is useful if your are able to speak the national language of the country you are in even if only basic and not rely on non Spanish speaking foreign immigrants.

Your comment is decidely patronising - my Spanish is fine for everyday life, but on an important technical matter it is essential to have a complete meeting of minds, to avoid complications later.

Fazarelli, it’s all a matter of opinion. A non Spanish speaking immigrant coming to Spain in need of building work does not sound like a winner on Dragon’s Den to me. However some others disagree and believe Spain and it’s building industry is booming despite official unemployment figures.
What’s your opinion?

I have to wonder if you're a secret Monty Python fan, wanting to re-enact their sketches.
First off you seem very keen to argue about everything - a la "is this the right room for an argument?".
Then your portrayal of the Black Knight sketch when you've fought briefly and had both arms and both legs chopped off - you quip "alright, we'll call it a draw"!
Perhaps it's time for something completely different.
