SPANISH LESSONS MOJACAR

I'll be in Mojacar Playa for 3 months from 7th December and I'm hoping to join a Spanish language class whilst there.  Does anyone know if there are any in the area?  I've been learning Spanish with duolingo but there are so many words that are different to the ones I leant at first.  I'm assuming duolingo teaches Mexican Spanish.  I'm finding it quite conffusing....

Can't help you i'm afraid. I know there used to be a cricketer's daughter (Ian Botham I think) who had a cafe in Vera, by the town hall where Spanglish lessons took place.

A friend I know spent ages learning Madrid Spanish, but found it totally useless outside the school gates as a different type of Spanish is spoken in the area.

You could also try the Rose and Crown along the playa, I think they know of local lessons too.

Thank you for your reply with advice, Mark.  I can see why I was having such difficulty trying to find somewhere.  I'll take a look at the website and also pop into the Rose and Crown when I get to Mojacar Playa.
