Change of name in Spain

Hi
I will be changing my name by deed poll (ordered a deed poll online and it is arriving in Spain).I can use this to change my passport postally but does anyone have any experience of what hoops you have to jump through to be able to change it here in Spain? Someone mentioned about getting a certificate from the British consulate confirming the name change but they said they do not do that.
