Hi Justin

Glad to see the new links are in place, but there are some problems.

Forums- Forum Profile   Returns page not found error

All the sub menus of Articles,Travel and Ebooks Have dodgy CSS which doesn't give the link table, just lines of colour and text links.

Looking good

Mark

Hi Mark

Thanks for the feedback.

We have corrected the issues you highlighted but the drop down menus aren't working properly yet.

Sigh.....looks like it's going t be a long night to get this all working properly!

By the way, this is just the first lot of updates, we'll be making some more updates this week.

Justin

Just thought I would have a look with Firefox and it seems to be working fine with that. It was IE6 that was giving the problems, not sure about 7 as that is on the PC upstairs.

I give up!  I will have to leave this to the CSS king (aka James) in the morning.  I'm no good with that.  Hopefully it will also be sorted first thing.

Justin

Hi Justin

The menu banner is just a banner in Explorer 7. In Explorer 6 and in Firefox the banner has drop down menus, which are easier to use.

Thanks Mark, great to have your input.  We are struggling to make it work in IE 7 which is odd as it works fine in the public part of the website

We're on the case.

Justin

Just to say it's also working fine with Safari and Camino (there are lots of us Mac users out there, you know!!).  Still don't get the formatting options when posting though with Safari!  But, no problems with Camino.

Just so you know!

I see that you are still playing with the css for the banner. It is working for me in IE7 on the following pages:

http://www.eyeonspain.com/Secure/Default.aspx
http://www.eyeonspain.com/Secure/MsgBrds.aspx

It isn't working on these pages though:

http://www.eyeonspain.com/Secure/user-photos.aspx
http://www.eyeonspain.com/Secure/property/property-sale.aspx
http://www.eyeonspain.com/Secure/rentals/rentals.aspx
http://www.eyeonspain.com/Secure/articles/
http://www.eyeonspain.com/Secure/travel/

Also, on the pages where the drop down isn't working, there is no link to the ebooks either.

Hi Mark

Thanks for the input.  We have sorted the problem out (finally) and are making our way through the pages making the necessary changes.

We've just been really tied up over the past two weeks with the changeover of another site of ours, Eye on Worldwide, but we're done with that now so we're back fixing errors here again!

Justin
