Los montesinos - English speaking doctors?
The Comments |
We move to Los montesinos in August. We are due to have a baby early June which will then need its jabs at 2, 3 & 4 months old.
Does anyone know anything about registering with doctors? and if there are any that speak English in Los Montesinos?

There is an article in this weeks euro weekly news about health.
The "salud responde" service is available 24 hours a day 365 days a year and can also be used to get an appointment with a paediatrician, receive medical or first aid advice etc. It says all you need is the social security number from your Spanish health card. The number to call is 902 505 060 they have operators who speak English and other languages., or the internet in Spanish only https://ws003.juntadeandalucia.es/pls/intersas/servicios.acceso_portal or e-mail saludresponde@juntadeandalucia.es You can also find out how to get a Spanish health card, to locate your nearest health centre or find out which doctor has been assigned to you. Hope this helps. Sorry don't know where Los Montesinos is.

Here's Los Montesinos, Indala. It's just inland from Guardamar, a few miles north of Torrevieja on the Costa Blanca. (At the top slightly to the left of the larger lake). I live at the top of the smaller salt lake. Where are you ?

Lainey, El Raso is off the yellow road marked CV-895. See the petrol station marked (petrol pump symbol) with a 7 to its left ? Just after that, to the left, is the entrance off a new roundabout on the Lemon tree road (CV-895) going due south down to the La Mata salt lake.
